Chia Pet/Chia Tree/Chia Head Planting Instructions

• Submerge Chia Planter in water for 24 hours.
• In a separate container, mix two teaspoons of Chia Seeds and 1/4 cup of water.
• Stir well to moisten all seeds.
• Allow seeds to set for 24 hours.
• The seeds will form a thick, gel-like paste which will help seeds adhere to your Chia Planter.

Fill pre-soaked Chia Planter with water. Place in drip tray provided. Apply moistened seeds evenly to all outside grooved surfaces. Take care not to clump seeds. You may not need to use all of the moistened seeds.

Place your Chia Planter in a well lit area with normal room temperature. A cold or hot window sill may be too harsh. Water your Chia Planter daily as seeds must be kept moist. To help germination (especially during winter months), create a "greenhouse environment" by placing a clear plastic bag around your Chia Planter for a few days, until sprouts appear. It is very important to keep seeds moist. Frequent misting and watering is recommended.
You cannot overwater your Chia Planter.
